Natural shredded New Zealand wool that smothers weeds, locks in moisture and feeds your soil as it breaks down. Plastic and fuss free.

Our Wool Mulch is made from 100% New Zealand wool, shredded into a light, fluffy layer you can easily spread around your trees and over large garden spaces. It’s a natural alternative to bark, pea straw and plastic weed matting, and it works hard all season.

Why gardeners love it:

• Keeps weeds down. A thick layer blocks light, so weeds struggle to get going.
• Holds moisture. Wool soaks up water and releases it slowly, so your soil stays damp for longer and you water less.

How to use it:

1. Clear the area of existing weeds.
2. Fluff the wool apart and lay it 3–5cm thick around your plants, keeping it just clear of stems and trunks.
3. Water it in so it settles. Top up once or twice a year as it breaks down.

Great for fruit trees, pots and ornamental gardens. Use to line hanging baskets too!
