Cozy Crops Wool Pellets help you to cultivate fertile, hydrated soil for healthy, productive gardens.

Our 100% Natural NZ made Wool Pellets help you improve plant growth, soil quality, and deter slugs, snails and weeds.

How to use:

  1. Surround your plants with a 15-20cm collar of wool pellets to keep them cozy, slowly release nutrients for stronger growth, and to keep slugs and snails at bay.
  2. Mix the wool pellets into the soil for a slow release fertiliser and to help maintain moisture. Use 500g of wool pellets per 10L of soil for optimal fertilisation and water retention.
  3. Water your pellets well so they fluff up, go back the next day and fill in any gaps.

Tip: A 3kg box is sufficient to mulch and fertilise a planted 1m x 2m veggie garden bed.

Wool Pellets work.

I have used wool pellets in my herb garden and in new container planting.
All plants are thriving even in this hot dry weather. I have recommended the pellets to all my gardening friends.

A win-win idea if ever there was one

These marvelous pellets - just like Granny used to make only tidier - are a breeze to use and are smell free. (Bonus) They do need a thin layer of mulch over the top or the garden looks invaded by woolley worms but the water retention is very good and very necessary these days.

Awesome product!

I used Cozy Crops as a mulch for my onions and I was pleasantly surprised with the results.

My normal mulch is pea straw which isn't always the best option for small delicate seedlings like onions, the wind catches the straw and it attracts the birds, which they then dig up. But with Cozy crops they were super easy to plant into (no damaged seedlings) and it didn't attract the birds at all.

I covered half my raised bed with Cozy Crops and the other with pea straw. The Cozy crop side needed less watering and had an amazing amount of fungi and wee mushrooms growing everywhere, which my pea straw side didn't. The soil was also nice and crumbly as the wool had started to break down alittle and the soil had far more moisture than my other peastraw side.

I was really surprised how well it kept down the weeds and the moisture in but the biggest bonus for me was it didnt attract the birds (they are such a pain) so I had no plant loss and now have big fat onions!

Thanks for the feedback Sarah! Great to hear how the wool pellets are benefiting your garden!

Awesome Stuff!

I've been using these in my garden for a few months now, and they've been fantastic! They've done wonders for keeping pests away while also retaining moisture around the roots—especially during the hot summer months. Plus, they help to keep my crops well-fertilized. Highly recommend this product. Great job Cozy Crops team!

Thanks Grace! Great to hear such positive feedback!
